Dry Salt Therapy Halotherapy

At Zen Haven Healing in Roanoke, TX, we have two rooms dedicated to dry salt therapy, also known as halotherapy. We have a smaller room (the Salt Booth) for one person, and a larger room called the Zen Den that can fit up to four people comfortably. 

What is Dry Salt Therapy (Halotherapy) and how will it benefit me?

Dry salt therapy can provide relief from arthritis and joint pain by reducing inflammation. The salt helps to remove excess fluid from the joint, which reduces pressure and makes it easier to move around. In addition, the anti-inflammatory properties of salt help to soothe swollen joints and reduce redness. As a result, dry salt therapy can be an effective way to manage arthritis and joint pain.

Dry Salt Therapy Options at Zen Haven:

The Salt Booth is a powerful healing environment that provides concentrated salt therapy in a quick 15 minute session. The Salt Booth, being a smaller room, allows for the salt in the air to be more concentrated, so you spend less amount of time in the booth. Most people feel invigorated, more alert, and awake after a session in the Salt Booth because the salt will immediately begin to open your airways and clear your sinuses allowing for you to breathe in more oxygen. 

A session in the Zen Den usually lasts about an hour and is a more relaxing experience. We have low lights, soothing music, essential oils, and a warm - lavender infused neck pillow and fuzzy blanket for you to get the most relaxing experience. We have 4 comfortable chaises lounge chairs for you to sink into and immediately let go into a state of zen.

This is also a great add on to help detoxify, reduce pain and inflammation as a compliment to other therapies such as the infrared sauna and aqua massage therapy.
